Removing I only seen pushing inboard( little by little LIGHT taps around seal's edge)from the rear seal plate onto the crank. Then remove it. But how to get new seal flexing over that larger rear crank flange???

Top flange came off smooth crank while torn bottom was one I had to push onto crank/out of flange then pried off. So I can measure actual seal off bad crank. But same part number, post it
