Hey lance, I would like your take on two sets of tires...I drive with an all-season during the 'summer' months and use a dedicated winter in the snowy times...I have not had to buy tires yet for this car but will be soon, the tires that I am thinking of are either Michelin PA3 or Dunlop winter sport 3D for the winter and either Michelin Pilot Exalto A/S for summer or ?? not sure of what else....
I have had PA2's on my jetta before and they were phenomenal, I've also have the Dunlop M3 winters on a civic before and they were also great so I wasn't sure which would be better on my Audi, I'm sure I cant go wrong with either...
As for summer/all-seasons I'm not sure, I have never had any problems with Michelin tires and tend to rack on the mileage on them before needing replacement, any recommendations? thanks
FYI stock wheel size is 18" but for the winter I would step it down to 17 or possibly 16 but not sure about clearance for the brakes if I went to 16....

For your vehicle I would lean towards the PA3s. Both the Dunlop and Michelin are great tires but Michelin is a little easier to get (inventory) and more importantly is a better performing tire.

For the winter package you are able to go to a 16" with the A4 S-line option. We would need to discuss the wheel selection as that can make a difference in the fitment.
For the other 3 seasons the Exalto A/S is a nice option but I would maybe suggest the Bridgestone RE970AS Pole Position or the Continental Extreme Contact DWS.
Let me know if you have any other questions!

Hello,
Thank you for the warm welcome! I really hope I am able to assist the folks here on the forum.
The General Altimax RT would be the tire I would recommend. When we tested this tire we absolutely loved the performance it had, especially the wet grip! This tire was specifically designed to fill that void in the tire market for the Van and SUV tires that provide very good comfort without giving up traction. It will handle light snow with no issues at all.
Here is the link to the test we did:

If you decide to order just give me a call directly and I will be happy to help.
