Default Best all-w tires for RS4

I bought my b7 RS4 slightly used with brand new ADVAN.4 on, but I find their performance in rain and light snow disappointing. I have read Continental makes the best all-weather, is this true?

Continental ExtremeContact DWS's are currently backordered everywhere...I'd go with Michelin Pilot Sport A/S Plus's, although they will test your wallet a little more.

I just bought a set of the conti xtreme DWS's from tirerack. Discount and a couple of others said back-order. TR said we got'em...how many do you want?

I love them. If you check their survey results on tirerack, you'll see they beat the mich's in all categories.

cheers.

I was specifically referring to size 255/35R19 XL, which is the OP's tire size. I realize ContiExtreme DWS's are available in some other OE sizes...but not for a B7 RS4.

Sorry `bout that...I should have been more descriptive in my 1st post.

i have continentl extremecontact dws's on my tt. They make a second model of the tire also which are easy to come about especially if you have an 18in rim.
