Reverse 911 is where they call you and tell you to get the F**K out of your house.

 

Yeah, Dug said it. 911 actually calls YOU and tells you to leave your house as quickly as possible.

My house is in the mandatory evacuation area, but I went back there this morning and everything seems to be okay. There's a helluva lot of ash all over it, but nothing has burned yet. The fire is still a couple of miles out.

Here's a picture of me at my house at about 8:00am yesterday (Monday). I may look like a terrorist but i HAD to because of all of the flying ashes and smoke as well as the 50-60mph gusts accompanying this.

I live kinda close to the fires diamondbar walnut area.... the ash is f'ing with my lungs... i sneeze a lot and have shortness of breathe when I get at the bag..

lots of houses are burning down... its unreal

 

Yeah I live about 10 mins from the fires burning in the san bernardino mts. smoke and ash everywhere. I will have to give my car a complete detail before the GTG on sunday

 

Crap! I've heard it's been getting pretty bad down there. Hope all you guys stay safe, especially the ones here asked to evacuate.

 

Hope your doin alright Ryno. I work for CBS and its non stop **** about these fires down there. last check they are up to half a million people evacuated.

 

I heard earlier that the estimated cost is now up to 1 billion. Crazy.
