nearest twisties by west covina is Azusa Canyon, to East Fork and then the infamous GMR (Glendora Mountain Road).

it's really near from the Hooters, roughly 5-10 min. away, just head north down azusa towards the canyons. alot of people battle it out at nite at the top of GMR ala in initial D fashion.

Jet, I do have a camera. Instead of typing it all out, I'll just cut and paste from another forum...

Body: 30D
Canon Lenses: 50 MK II F1.8 | 18-55 F3.5-5.6 | 300 F4L IS
Sigma Lenses: 10-20 F4-5.6 EX DC HSM | 24-60 F2.8 EX DG | 70-200 F2.8 EX DG HSM APO | 70-300 F4-5.6 DG APO Super Macro II
Other Stuff: BG-E2 | Sigma 2x TC APO | Sigma EF 500 DG Super | Vivitar 285HV | Lowepro Computrekker AW | Tamrac Velocity 9 | Manfrotto 679B | Manfrotto 488RC0 | PS CS2

I'm always trying to learn and cars is not something I've shot much of. So, I'd love to see how you guys do it.

Also, I've got a Canon Vixia HF100 and a large CruiseCam mount. I'm trying to learn that too. Haven't had much success/opportunities.

What time are you free that day? Like I said, I'm prolly available around 11. New canyons would be fun...

Thanks for the vid .eclipse. That first one sucks...I'm a big fan of driving 8/10ths on runs...too much to lose. How busy are those areas on Saturdays in the afternoon?

^ ya azusa canyon is some what busy during those times (campers, bikers, etc.) as for east fork and GMR, alot of people like to cruise up there. i've ran into other car forum caravans cruising these canyons.

definitely single lane it during the day. that's how the wrx fucked up in the first clip at the huge winding left on azusa canyon. double laning during the day, you can't tell if someone's coming around a corner.

well... I can't say I don't like them if I haven't had them right? I'm down, but I'm not particularly excited about them. Bring it on though.

I'm fine with cabeza (beef cheek), lengua (beef tongue), menudo (beef stomach lining), and tripe in pho, so I'm fairly open to trying new foods. One thing I'll never try though is rocky mountain oysters. I just not comfortable with the idea of eating *********. Not cool man. I think we can rule out all genitalia, actually.

But yeah, if you guys can hook up some balut, I'd love to try it.
