Here is a good explaination of the turbo but isn't exactly right for our cars:

im pretty sure that a track day at buttonwillow is not too expensive, i think you could get more people in on an event like that which would drive the cost down. My boss has gone to something like that and i think he said its in like the 2-3 thousand range, not positive but thats not too bad if say 50 cars show up. The only drawback is that its in Bako.

i think its cheaper then the k04 becasuethat web page is only for the turbo its self, no programin or anything
the k04 kit comes wit prgamming thats why it cost more
and it says it only fits the 1.8Ts

so how come the Garrett cheaper than the K04, but pumps more ponies out of it? heck, if it's that cheap, i might have it by next month. [sm=badbadbad.gif]

Panda's correct. That web link was for the turbo itself, and it wasn't available for the A3 FWD on that link. APR has software for the GT28 turbo because it is the car that they built, but it's not looking readily available for the bolt-on consumer yet. Just keep reading and give it some time. Remember your statement, "I'm done doing mods for a while, I'm broke"??? Yeah, right.
Cheers!
