I'm so sorry dude. I brought several Eurotuner magazines to the GTG for you to take and read. Give me a moment and I'll look up any references.

Cheers!

Here is a good explaination of the turbo but isn't exactly right for our cars:

im pretty sure that a track day at buttonwillow is not too expensive, i think you could get more people in on an event like that which would drive the cost down. My boss has gone to something like that and i think he said its in like the 2-3 thousand range, not positive but thats not too bad if say 50 cars show up. The only drawback is that its in Bako.
Well, I don't think renting a track just for our gtg is a good idea. There are more than just track rental. You need insurance, ambulence, fire truck, and course workers. My thought was to join one that is organized by a well established club. I run with Redline a lot. If we have something like 10+ people who are interested, I might be able to arrange that with Redline. Check out their schedule here, http://www.redlinetrackevents.com/event_list.html. There are 3 events in June and July, and all 3 of them are on different tracks. My preference for a gtg would be Streets of Willow because it is a great beginner's track, and it is a bit closer than Buttonwillow. I'm not sure what the entry fee will be since it is not posted for these 3 events yet. I'm assuming that it will be between $150-200 a day. If you guys are interested, we can all have some fun at the track.

i think its cheaper then the k04 becasuethat web page is only for the turbo its self, no programin or anything
the k04 kit comes wit prgamming thats why it cost more
and it says it only fits the 1.8Ts

Panda's correct. That web link was for the turbo itself, and it wasn't available for the A3 FWD on that link. APR has software for the GT28 turbo because it is the car that they built, but it's not looking readily available for the bolt-on consumer yet. Just keep reading and give it some time. Remember your statement, "I'm done doing mods for a while, I'm broke"??? Yeah, right.

Cheers!
