San Diego Tuners
what are some good tuners for a B5 S4 that feature true honest opinions about products rather than trying to sell what they have? I went in to one and asked about the pros and cons of H&R and Bilstein and they said that "they suck go with KW". I responded by saying oh really, what do you guys carry and they said "just kw" haha. the only tuners down here that I know so far areGroup5 and Revd up Kustoms (which is new and there shop isnt set up all the way).

Yeah that always sucks. Just read through different forums and come up with your own decision and find the shop that will help best. There is so much information on these forums, just go in with your eyes open and brain alert.
Cheers!

Group 5 is generally a good place to go in San Diego. I haven't personally dealt with them so I can only say what I've been hearing.
If you are willing to head towards Temecula, Mike Kim @ Pure Motorsports is a really good guy. I think he's at Bimmerfest for the next couple days. A bunch of us over at Socaleuro got our suspensions from him and complaints are few and far between. If he doesn't carry what you want, he will generally order it. He's also not afraid to tell you honestly what is good and what isn't for what you want out of the car.
I wish I had an email or something for some of the S4 guys in SD. They show up to our local meets but I don't see them online quite as often as some of the other people. They have their own meetup at some taco shop in north county.
