There's definitely room for that cover, but I don't know what you'd attach it to. That thing snaps onto the top of the air box.

Not sure what a splitter is. I didn't have any options when I bought this thing though man... ABD was the only place open and that was what they had, so I bought it. It's getting the job done though.

 

Splitter is just an option Forge has for people craving the BOV sound.

You know how most BOV's release 100% into the air? You can adjust the splitter so it's not 100% but instead (for example) 30% into the air and recirculate the 70% back.

 

That's kinda cool... I could use that as a temp fix right now. I've been running lean for a while and playing with that might make a bit of a difference. I just need to get this damn remap already..

No, I don't have a splitter. It's just a standard adjustable DV.
