Mine was a custom intercooler setup.. The endtanks to the core were welded on by a friend of mine, the piping was bought off of ebay and put together... I paid roughly maybe like $400 for the whole thing, and did the install with one of the techs at our shop. If you don't want the hassle of trying to find the best way to mount, wondering if it will fit behind your bumper, cutting/welding the piping then i recommend you buy a premade kit. It all depends on how much your willing to spend, if your cheap then just findbuy the kit on ebay and make it yourself orif your looking to spend money on a GREAT premade kit then i highly recommend Evolution Racewerks ic... it doesn't have to be there competition kit, it can be there sport kit and its still a great kit.

Definetly a good guy, if you've been to his shop in the last couple months, the silver b5 is one of our mechanic's car. He got the ER comp IC put on last year, now the motor is getting built by ER and hes the test vehicle for ER's B5 BT kit

Your best bet would probably be to repaint it so its a more permanent, but if you want something temporary i've got some dressing spray that'll make it black again for about a week or two
