They're basically just shitty little daytime running lights.

I'm still going to wire them in though. They might look pretty cool. The fog light button would be the most convenient way to turn these on. I think that's a good call. I might even do that wiring conversion that allows you to turn on your fogs without your low beams lit up if they look cool enough.

Just noticed that there's no spot for me to put that crappy city light in the first place. I guess only the legit ecodes have those. That's fine. Everything else looks the same, except for the yellow corner I need to break out of there.

Anyhow, I know how I'm going to wire these up now. Screw the city lights. They're just really weak daytime running lights, and they wouldn't have worked here anyway.

I just need to buy the backings for my lights (~$30 from the stealership, from what I've heard) and I'm ready to get these guys in.

There's a small hole for them next to the high beam hole in e-codes. They're ugly little 5W daytime running lights.

So city lights are bacillay lights that come on while you are driving in the daytime? Daytime driving lights? Or is there a difference? NVM I just SLOWLY re-read the post above. Why is it hard to get a light harness then drill into the light housing? I remember back in the days we use to do that to the Hondas.

Don't have to. Since my lights are US-Spec Valeos and not e-codes, they don't have that city light hole. That hole, the yellow corners (which will be removed soon), and the HID ballasts are the differences between the two. Just have to swap over my DDM's and I doubt anyone will really notice.
