Default Looking for a good independant shop (WA)

I just purchased a 2000 S4 and the check engine light came on over the weekend
So yesterday I took it to the local Stealer, well, it was misfiring and the BV was replaced, as well as a little tune up, so the bill was $1000!!!!!
Basically besides reading my codes the work was all real basic, and not worth the money spent.

They also told me my upper end was leaking oil, I know the valve covers gaskets are crap, but they quoted me $2500 to seal it up back up, I passed!

So I might tackle this my self, or take it to a good independent, I'm going to do the brakes this weekend & flush the fluids.

Any one know a good south end (Tacoma area) shop?

I know all about them when I had my M3. However, I'm not going to drive 3+ hrs to get simple work done.

$1000 for DVs and what tune-up work? Yikes!

The valve cover gasket/chain tensioner gasket/cam seals are very common. We do them all the time.
Parts and labor is under $800 from us. The $1700 would be worth the drive IMHO. Plus, no sales tax. We could give you a ride downtown and you could check out the city.

LMK if we can help at all. We have two ex-factory Audi techs (one is a master Mercedes tech as well) and we know we can exceed your expectations!
