I'm looking to find a nice luxurious daily driver and I was suggested in getting an A4 quattro 1.8T/2.8. I've been told the best year to find for my price range (max of 10k being financed) is the 1999 A4 Quattro. I am in the Bay Area here (Los Gatos/San Jose, CA) and I was wondering if there is anyone that would want to meet up so I could just check out your car and possibly you could give me a ride in it. Most of it is going to be for luxurious driving, but I think coming from my previous daily driver (94 RX-7) I'm going to want and need some extra zip in the car (probably leaning towards the 1.8T) even though it may not be as reliable as the 2.8. If anyone is free during the weekday/weekend, let me know and we can do a little meet up and introduce each other and you can show me the highs/lows of these cars.
