... it feels like a hose is loose / or bad DV.. but I would think I'd get a CEL.. plus it doesnt happen all the time, just intermittently.

well if you're using the bosch DV's (diaphram/710N's?) then you'll hear a honking-esque noise when letting off throttle... signs of a DV going out

hmm but if you're letting off throttle.. sounds like a vacuum leak? check the vac hoses? =O
