I recently picked up an A3 from an auction in WA and I believe that it was your A3, or one that looks very similar to yours.

Telling features: K2 Variant Coilovers, Strut bar, boost gauge in the driver's side air vent, "AUDI FORUMS" sticker on the rear driver's side window.

Just to let you know, I am in the process of rebuilding her and she'll be back on the road within the next 3 weeks!

I was just wondering if you could tell me what other mods have been performed to your old car.

Well, for starters you can tell him about the drive off the road and crush the roof mod. I'm not sure he will be too stoked to hear your list of mods.

 

i don't think the car was repaired before it was sold...... or it may have been salvaged and sold for dir cheap.

 

if the insurance total losted it then it has a salvaged title
it didnt say it was restored
maybe they just bought the car to harvest the parts

 

but the guy said he has the car and is rebuilding it!

 

i wonder how much he got the car for at the auction

 

If just the roof was caved in it could still be salvaged. I know a guy who picked up a sentra that had a salvage title cuz a pole fall on the roof and cave it in but it didn't damage the chasis.
