car just got keyed....advice for shops in san gabriel/pasadena area
argh.....so there's a long key scratch that runs the length of the rear driver side door. i'm 99% sure it was a crazy guy that lives in my friend's neighborhood. i parked on the street near his house for the better part of the day. he had hosed my car down earlier. other people in the neighborhood have had issues with him. i just don't have any proof.
it's showing white (my car is black) so it's gotta be down to the metal. scratch x didn't do a whole lot.
i'm guessing the whole door will need to get re-sprayed. anyone know of a good shop in the san gabriel/pasadena area to get this fixed? any guesses as to cost?

Have you tried using filler pens/scratch pens?
If you haven't, you should try that first and see if you are satisfied with the result.
It could save you couple of hundred dollars.

Who the hell takes there anger out on peoples car. no matter how mad i have been at someone, it gets directed at them not there car. what did the car ever do to you? I think it should be legal to shoot certain people.

i did absolutely nothing to the guy. i had never even seen him before. a couple of months ago, a bunch of the neighbors held a yard sale together. the guy started hosing down the stuff, none of which was even within 25 feet of his property.
i have the stock exhaust so my car isn't even loud and i wasn't blasting music when i parked. such a douche bag. i just wish i had proof.
for now, i'll try a black crayon (i read this works on another forum) just to hide it until i have the time to be without a car for a couple of days to get the door painted.
any professionals on this forum know how to properly touch up scratches? cuz i don't and i'll do a **** poor job.
