hey Chef............ how do you like it?

SuperDug.....Awesome place, as for Date, i'm pretty sure the First Weekend of August is the best time for everyone. maybe Thur-Sat? Fri-Sunday? or Thur-Sunday? But it's probably gonna have to be the first weekend of August.

ok guys, after reading up on this half-dome hike... i have come to the conclusion that we need to be prepared to sleep on the mountain and make it a two day mission. this seems like a pretty serious hike/ adventure and we cannot expect everyone to complete it in one day... going up that far for that long and experienceing the altitude changes we are going to be tired and fatigued.... i'm sure this hike would be very difficult for me to even complete in one day and i am in pretty good shape.

what do you guys think?

I've been wondering if it was wise to bring my son with that big of a climb up and down? The only downside is that we would be hauling much bigger packs with us then. I don't know? Maybe a day up and down would honestly be easier in the long run.
