Hey guys, I'm going to try to bring out my S6 Avant on Sunday. I'm local here in SD. This will be my first GTG with Audi people (coming from the VW community)

Would you like me to bring something?

Mike

We'll see how my rage progresses over the next day or so.

I was driving home in "my" Nissan Xterra tonight and came to a light when a brand new A3 Sline, white with Open Sky, pulls up behind me with a man and a woman smiling happily. The woman was nestling herself back into the seat and the guy was laughing. How I hated them!!! I'm just not doing well mentally with this whole thing. I can understand how shallow and silly it seems, but I can't shake the crud.

Oh,

Nam,

I'll have my Koni Coilovers next week, so the Chef is still up on you......the only problem is I'll be trying to fit them on my Nissan since I don't have an Audi.[:@]

Cheers!

Nam, you are truly funny......and very insightful. But, I'm very resourceful, as you know, and I found a set of Konis that are on the way.

I hope you do get all of the toys for your ride as you desire. I'm going for the S/S brake lines and upgraded pads only for my A3 if the Porsche caliper doesn't fit, since I'll be keeping the OEM sport wheels. And I want to get the LSD and stiffer clutch before I get the bigger turbos, and I'm still debating on getting the K04's or going GT28. My fear is that I'll need to reinforce engine components for a reliable GT28 performance, and I need to get over the $$$ barrier too.

I won't have the bigger turbo upgrades before we move to Texas, so you may just have a 1-up on me. Oh, and I can lend a hand wrenching on your blown motor too if needed.

Still, I'm looking around for a high-maintenence woman for you. Gotta slow you down a little before you kill yourself. Remind me to tell you about my friend Dave next time we are together.[&o] (that sounded a bit hypocritical, sorry)

Cheers!

woke up today, planning on washing the car for the gtg, but had to take the car in for 25k maintenance, found out they were pretty cool about me having a chip, CAI, boost gauge, engine mount and RSB, they even told me about their upgrade ECU software, but was nice enough to ask me if i had a chip. neways, by the time i got my car back, it was already washed for me, so one less job for me to do today, then i felt great about my car, so drove over to Group5 motorsports and dropped $1500 on new KW Variant 2 coilovers....... they're coming in the same time as my DP.......

how's the comparison between the KO4's and the GT28's? i can't find any info for the GT28's for the A3
