Vag-Com Data after changing HPFP cam follower
Finally was able to get the gumption to try and change the HPFP cam follower. Most everything went real smooth. My pump feed line did not have the banjo bolt, but simply tubing with compression springs which was a real PITA to get off. Really need the spring tool for that. This is a 2007 A4 2.0T, so not sure why that was different. Anyway the follower did not appear to be overly worn nor did the pump or cam. Car has 90k. Don't really know if it had been changed before as I am the 3rd owner. Ran a VagCom and got the following data. I need to know if this looks normal.
Group 103 Current fuel pressure 4.53bar at idle
Group 103 Fuel Pressure Regulator -277 at idle
Group 103 Adaptation value elect. fuel pump 771 at idle
Group 103 Demand controlled fuel pump adapt. ADP. OK
Group 140 Quantity valve closing angle 46.4deg at idle
Group 140 Quantity valve opening angle -28.8deg at idle
Group 140 Rail Pressure (actual) 50.99 bar at idle
Group 140 Quantity Control Valve status 01 at idle
Group 230 Rail Pressure (specified) 50.00 bar at idle
Group 230 Rail Pressure (actual) 49.1 bar at idle
Group 230 Rail Pressure difference .89 bar at idle
