but think back a few years ago when gm was producing the lt1 camaros/firebirds. the new cobalts are almost as fast as those cars!
The LT1 F-bodies were '93-'97. That's 10-14 years ago. More than a few. And the mag times for them ranged from 14.4 to 13.8 making them atad faster than the Cobalt SS.
true 10-14 is more than a "few" but you knew what i meant.

aight no worries
either way i still see lt1 cars on the streets all over the place and they are still alive and doing well when people are looking for a car to soup up. i think its a fair enough comparison

I just want you people who sh*t on the Cobalt SS to ask yourselves a question and be completely honest. If there were a Civic Si-R, a VW Rabbit GTI, a Scion TC-S, or whatever that had the same supercharger, the same power, and the same acceleration as the Cobalt SS, would you still sh*t on it, or would you defend it for being fast for it's class or fast for it's price?
