Default 96 A4Q vs. 94 Civic w/ swap

....so the other night around 10 me and my buddy who drives a 94 civic HB with a b16 motor swap along with just an intake & exhaust, were crusin around town pretty bored and we wanted to have alil fun so we wanted to do a couple of runs to see whos car would win. The first run we were at a roll between 10-20 mph and on the third honk we WOT......i instantly took about a car and a half on him and we keep crusin....he started to gain on me alil in third but in fourth i started to walk on him until we shut it down around 90-100

The second run was from a launch so after he lined up and did the honks we hit it....i launched on him and all i was was just screeching from him runnin his tires....i kept goin and i heard him chirp really hard when he hit second(he was really tryin to hit it) but i kept about a full two cars on him untill we shut it down again around 100....overall it was a fun night crusin around and checkin out cars but the two runs are what really got my night going

hmmm.. You would think with the Weight difference that he would have beat you. b16 =150-160hp.. 2.8 = 170-175hp.

Good Stuff... I used to have a 2000 Civic SI with just bolt ons (intake, header, exhaust, suspension, poly mounts). This car used to beat chipped 1.8T cars and kill 2.8's ... the car was a total sleeper to the general public.. But thats all in the past now... just my .02

Sry 8urvtec, either he doesnt know how to drive or his engine is blown. A b16 in a hatchback, even if it is the old b16a, would still run well into the 14s in the quarter. Your a4 quattro would be lucky to hit in the 15s. Unless you have a turbo you aren't telling us about.....
