3 beeps
Are the any rules or standards that I show know when racing from a roll? Is there a certain person that is supposed to be doing the "beeping"? Are we supposed to be at a certain speed or gear? When do you decide the race is over? Any other comments are welcome..I assume the racing is straight forward.
Last night I raced from a dig and I just want to make sure I didn't seem like a retard. We went from 35 to about 120 or so. He did the beeping (all 3 races). I won 2 of the 3, at least I was ahead by the time I decided braking was a good idea. Did I retard this race or was I ok?

RE: 3 beeps
eh I always thought throwing on the hazards was a noob move. I guess not. As for street racing...I can make my own decisions, if I felt as though I were endangering the lives of others I would not race. I am sure you have driven over the speed limit...

RE: 3 beeps
1. After 3 honks is the norm.
2. Doesn't matter who honks, as long as no one gets an early jump.
3. Be in a gear that puts your car in it's powerband.
4. Race length depends on how road you have. But..... usually if I KNOW that Ibeat the other guy, or lost to the other guy and there's no chance of catching up regardless of race length, I break.
5. If they do a fly-by, ignore them, that's a ricer move.
6. If they wanna race again for a longer or shorter distance, or from a dif speed, negogiate from there.
