I don't like the "I'm better because I own a V8 mentality" that a lot of people have but I don't hate all mustangs.

 

Hey I have a M5 so watch the V-8 coments. Just kidding. I have had a few run-ins with a few mustangs myself. From a roll on (just about in the middle of nowhere) at about 30 to 120 my M5 went door to door with a pumped up svt supercharged mustang. It happen to be an older guy driving his weekend car. I started pulling at about 85 and he shut down at 120 when I had a car and a half. We later where next to each other at a light before he turned, man was he pissed. A 4000 pound sedan just beat his beloved stang. Oh well, I did get my *** handed to me by my friends 600 plus hp 01 S4. The thing is a beast (hence why I am selling my M5 and getting a S4). There is nothing satisifying about beating a mustang for me. **Typically** the owners have lost enough races that they know they dont have a cold chance in hell. Maybe they arent aware of what audi packs... Mustang owners cower in fear from my trans am :-( makes me sad, no one will race an LS1 car... I use to own a mustang myself. a 91 GT 5.0 with a couple bolt ons. my best time was a 14.7@94 which is like non turbo import territory :-) My t/a ran 13.4@106 stock now has big cam, valvetrain, tune, full exhaust, intake, 3200 full lock up TC, 4.10 gears. with traction should run high 11's.
