1/4 times to hp ratio?
Hey guys,
Looking to trade in my 05 dodge ram 1500 with a 5.7 hemi with intake, headers, TQ cam and a few othr mods so about 320-330hp. Im looking into an 00-02 Audi S4 to trade my truck in for. My truck runs a high 13 sec in the 1320 at 5250 lbs. I am a nood so take it easy on me and if this is a common question than just tell me in one post cause I couldnt find it with the search function. What times are you guys running in the 1/4 and what hp/tq are you putting down to run the time? And I dont see many of you guys running anything over 500 hp and if you are what type of times are you getting, cause im not a circle track or handling kinda guy? I come from a family of big block and small block mopar motors, and I know very little about bi-turbo V6. Any help would be appreciated, and if any of you guys run at the cecil county drag way in cecil county maryland let me know if I could come check out your car sometime.
thanks a lot,
Josh
Sorry for being a big NOOOB

RE: 1/4 times to hp ratio?
look into a nice turbo upgrade and you'll be having fun in the AWD... but i'd sayit's mostly about corners and twisties in the S4... drag is fun but what it comes down to in this car is superb handling and power.... i love listening to the turbo's spool up in i3uddah's 2000 S4.... just start spoolin' and puttin' you back in the seat
i used to love drag racing, but know i just search for crazy lines on a map
the power is out there and with the twin turbo setup, that's the easiest way to makea whole lot more power.... youtube it

2nd.
Power for Dollar, you're not going to find anything that competes with an American V8 for straight line speed. To quote the ever-so-used saying, "there is no replacement for displacement." ...And its the truth. Thats said, modifying an American V8 will make you 1 of 1000000 to do so. For comparison reasons, to run high 13's, youre probably going to need a Stg. 2 S4.
