Wasn't worried about failing an inspection. I just wanted to clear it before I sold it. But I already sold it. so no need for VAG com anymore. Thanks for the replies tho.

I've got an '02 audi a4 1.8t with 135K on it.

Moving to Raleigh in May from New Jersey...

Where are the best places to get repairs?

Also, I may get the windows tinted because from what I've been told/understand it is legal in NC. Where should I go in the Raleigh area?

Any comments/suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

 

Im not sure if you hear of Black Forest Industries, they are in Cary, NC. Ive heard good things about them! Tint is legal here but no darker than 30%.
I cant think of the names right now but there are two located on Capital Blvd. in Raleigh. Well known street in Raleigh where alot of businesses are. Im getting mine done soon too so Ill let you how it goes and where i went.

All I know is my house will be in North Raleigh. I honestly don't know the area at all yet outside of that but I'll go back and re-visit this thread with the names/streets you mentioned.

30% is pretty good. Not sure I'd want to go darker to be honest. I heard anything darker than 20% is difficult to see out of at night.

 

Hi guys, another QC fella here
I work in the Unversity area and see quite a few nice Audi's running around.
Even a yellow 4.2 A4 that I wish I had.

Anyhow, I'm new to the group.
Had the car about a month and half now.
Silver 2007 A4 2.0T (CVT)
My Acura got stolen out in Concord Mills so I got this bad boy. :-)

I do have one issue already and hope to get it fixed. I need to do some research .... but if anyone can help point me in the right direction that would be awesome.
My climate control on the right side is not working no matter what.
The left side responds to temp change on the interface but the right is just as cold as the outside air is. The directional buttons work fine but still no temp change.
Any ideas?
and btw, I'm not scared to get dirty and do the work myself.
