I'm in meridian,MS about 1.5 hours east of jackson. plenty of radar, but I haven't seen anything with laser. I realize that my detector wouldn't save me from laser but it would have picked it up if they were using it. Now when I was in TX and AZ, that sucker went off all the time with laser alerts.

Basically learning about counter-measures and buying or having access to police laser guns and understanding the limitations on both lidar guns and laser jammers.

Surf Daddy...I know for a fact you were made a member of GOL and that would taint any testing you conduct because look at the past tester at the last GOL jammer testings....the shooter was a cop of a 1 horse town and he is friends with radar roy...after that 2007 GOL Jammer Tests he became the laser interceptor usa rep and he hyped it up along with the members of GOL. However, given the following, I think that those of you who are familiar with the ZR3 and LPP combo can say that, indeed, both the alert tones as well as the reset tones are more than sufficient evidence to say that yes, there's a ZR3 onboard.
By the timeline (see below), this evidence - that of the ZR3's unmistakable alert as well as reset tones - would negate the claimed presence of the LaserStar onboard Ronin's vehicle.
I clearly remember discussing Ronin's jam with him (Ronin), and he cited that it was with his ZR3/LPP combination.
