So, i have decided that in 2009 i WILL run in the aka Rally. If you dont know about it then click here.
I was contemplating doing it this year but decided i wanted to be stage 3 for the adventure. So i can run down those 911 turbos.

Pretty much its the everyday mans cross country rally. Costs $3250 per car. (2 people) includes all vip parties, hotels, dinners, prizes, and your entrance to run top speed on the Utah Salt Flats.
They have some videos on their webpage. Which i noticed there was a Laser S4 in it that seemed to be rallying with a couple sti's and evo's.

But yea looks extremely fun and i think i could use my first speeding ticket.

Sounds good. See you there! haha, Friend of mine and I have been looking for something like this for a while now. unfortunatly all of them you have to be 21. Im 19 (todays my birthday) and my friend turns 18 in march. Is there an age restriction on the AKA?

 

Yes its 21. also another reason i didnt go this year. i would have missed by like month and a half or something. Yea 21+ sorry man haha ill let u know how it is

 

all drivers and passengers have to be 21 for AKA too... guess i wont be there for a couple years. I was looking at the galleries and they had a rally from Bar Harbor Maine, to Boston, to NYC. Being from the north east that sounds sick, i hope this will still be around and fun in a couple years when im old enough

 

Im sure it will be, i guess they had some snag last year where the cops go a hold of one of the cars itinerary and copied it and had speed traps and everything set up along the route.

THIRD rule of rallying you hide the itinerary better than u hide your drugs. hahah

 

hahaha very true. I kept seeing the AKA rally thing in your sig and i never knew what it was about. Thanks for sharing this i wanna do it sooo bad. My friend did some Z-car rally in his 300zx TT last summer, said it was a blast

 

If any of you guys hear of a north eastern rally, clue me in. HP, Aren't you northeast and pre 21? I believe a neighbor of mine

 

Northeast is where its at, minus the garbage roads.

 

haha, yeah. we have more then our fair share of those. specially now with the damn frost heves.
