Sorry Bimmers are a great car with a top notch engine but heres why i just cant stand them or the people that drive them 1. We own audis cause we cant afford BMW lol last i checked lots of audis cost MORE than BMW's 2. Lots of use are Dentists, Doctors, and such...sorry but i run into ummmm 3 old people driving bmw compared every 1 for audi lol just my 2 cents enjoy the comments

sorry but this one made me laugh too guys "You jokin' right? S4 v. 650? Why don't you compare a Civic Si to the 325i while you are at it? Or even better yet, a RX8 to a Ferrari F430? Heck, while we're at it, let's compare the friggin' Toyota Prius to the Space Shuttle!

Yea some BMW owners are a bit over the top. I moved from a rural hick area to a city full of rich brats and I see more Bimmers than Audis hands down. And most of the BMWs I see are full of tint and cheesy bolt ons. IMO audis look way better inside. I just don't like the interior of a 2003 M3, sorry. I'm sure with the rear wheel drive they are a blast to drive in the summer though. But nothing beats the quattro in winter. Doughnuts are the bomb. Oh and one comment in the BMW forum you posted, they said the BMW is heavier but bigger...but correct me if I'm wrong; isn't the BMW rear wheel therefor the all wheel drive in the S4 adds a lot more weight. I don't know. Ok I'm done procrastinating, back to the books.

Our cars are generally heavier. And I think that that thread is outta control with what its saying. I hate the 3 series.

Hey, yea I'm cool with a lot of BMW owners. I'm just annoyed by those who think that their cars are way better than an Audi. I'm that way with anyone, no matter what kind of car they own. I pull up next to Evos and STis all the time and say hey nice car. I guess I'm just too nice of a person to hate on others cars.

 

I owned a bmw 318ti and a Jetta vr6 before I bought my 04 S4. The 318 had less power, but was a blast to drive. The Jetta was quick, and handled ok--but nothing to take your breath away. Now-I definitly feel like I got the best of both worlds. I'd take the m3 on the track anyday, buy my commute in up 12 inches of snow is definitly not a track. Notice how everyone went to awd sport sedans in the last 5 years-bmw, lexus, infinity, to name a few.

 

Yes BMW are great manufactured machines no doubt and not everyone that drives them is a ***** but when i was reading their forum it was a big over the top with arrogance and IGNORANCE when it comes to other vehicles even the new 135 is whoooosh! 300hp Twin Turbo

 

Never understood this debate.... Similar companies, similar cars, same customer demographic. Its nice to have choices...

I like both, but i wont be in an Audi thats not an S/RS and i wont be in a BMW thats not an M

 

Some people are idiots. BMW 650? Its their $72,000 car vs our $50,000 S4 and they still lose in perfomance. 0-60 BMW = 5.6sec, S4 = 5.3. 1/4 mile BMW = 13.8 @ 103.2, Audi S4 13.8 @ 100.1. So what do you get for your extra $22 large? An overpriced sled that looks like a dead fish. The Audi is better handling too.

When you're talking M cars, you're talking to the RS folks. BMW loses on that front too.

Don't get me wrong, I like beamers to an extent but once you start talking trash you better be aware of the facts.
