what are the lowest s4 springs available???
i was wanting to order some springs for my 2002 b5 s4 soon. i already have new shocks waiting and was wanting to know what the lowest springs are available?? so far the lowest i have found were the intrax springs, with a drop of 1.7 up front 1.5 rear. are there any springs lower than that made for the s4 without getting coilovers??? im getting 19's and dont want the car to look like a monster truck, but not wanting to drop another 1000 for coilovers since this car will never see the track.

What type of shocks are you getting??? Because if your compression rates are 'mild' to say the least, then with 19 inch wheels you'll be rubbing quite badly no matter what the spring rate. 19 inch on a B5 is HUGE, I would recommend a 1.5 drop in front at most or else you'll be scrapping those tires over every bump, through every turn, and destroy the tread.

wow ur car is sick!!!! love the wheels. so ur just running h r sport springs and regular bilstein shocks??? or the shocks that have an adjustable spring cup?? the stance of urs looks like i want mine. just wanting to eliminate this gap in my wheel welds!! ur 18's look big... i want 19's but maybe i should go with 18's cause urs look nice!!

Hah thanks, 18's are perfect in my opinion. I wish the rear was a little lower (would help with the body roll back there as well) but it's as much as I would like for the road. The shocks are non adjustable, it's quite a basic setup.

bilstine shocks h&r springs
im saving up for h&r race coilovers, but if i was too impatiant and wanted to lower it now id go with bilsine/h&r i hear they set your car low, and the rear a bit lower. ...
