What kind of tires should I buy?

RE: What kind of tires should I buy?
I had the proxis FZ-4s and found that they were not so grippy at high speeds (tended to want to slide/make me plow on fast curves) - I also found that the sidewalls were soft and I had a lot of rim (!) (OK wheel) damage - in fact when I complained to OZ wheels directly about the softness of their wheels they blamed my tires - and I subseqently saw some BMW owners making the same complaint. Currently I run Yoko AVS sports and in the dry they are supreme. Ride is a bit harsher then the Toyos certainly - and they are summer only (a good thing) - but the performance is light years better - not even close really. I do think the summer only perfomrance Toyos would be close however. I also have read good things about the Falkens and almost got them - but chose the Yokos instead. (I run on 19" WHEELS BTW!) - my winter tire is the Vredstein Wintrac - and I can't say enough good things about them. In fact - in many ways they are superior to the Yokos in the wet - they grip with supreme confidence - basically no different wet or dry - and the perform well enough to use year round (worth considering for some) - wear seems very good as well - 2 winters now (withlast "winter" stretching to June - with lots of miles - perhaps 15-20K - just a guess) and they look practically brand new - very little wear. Yokos are wearing well too - still look prettynew - but are riding noticibly rouger then when new. I never could keep the Toyos intact long enough to notice the wear - true....
