i'm broke, i'm being ripped off and getting paid minimum wage for a full time job, and insurance for me is close to 4 grand a year. if i'm to move out in a year and a half i'm going to need some money. i still have a lot of debt to pay. i thought about it a lot, and it makes more sense to sell it

First, what is Marty paying you? Second, you can just keep it and look for another job. Right now you are getting enough to make ends meet and still have a little fun right? So keep it going until you find a job that will pay more. The S4 is a beauty, and something you can keep for years and years, especially with all you have done to it. I know you want to move out in 18 months, but thats a long time to get settled somewhere else and make sure you can sustain the car, your lifestyle, and rent.
I know how you feel, I put as much money into my old car as I did buying it, but this is your first car and you will love it forever. If you are going to sell it, I'd be up to some part exchanges for sure. Also my friend works at New Year Auto and he's interested in buying it, depends on what you expect to get for it tho, cause its prob not going to be a number you like. Let me know what you want to do, we still need to chill if you have time this week. 414-915-7344.

U mite aswell just sell, coz what will happen is that u r 'broke' now sumthing will comeup that u gotta fix on it and will cost $$$ and the insurance will come round again: if u are selling, sell now b4 this all happens again!

RE: what do you suggest?
wow, I thought you were making $8/hr. F*ckin cheap bastards. Now that you are working there, however, you can apply at other shops and be able to show that you can do the job. If you quit don't be afraid to say you need to make more money, just be straight with them. Hell, work at Best Buy and do car instals, you'll make $8/hr starting guaranteed. It is true, if something else breaks, you will be screwed if you don't have anough in savings. When do you have off? We can drive it to my friend's lot and have him take a quick look over the car and give you a rough estimate. I'm almost positive you would make more by putting it on craigslist or autotrader, but it's worth a shot. Plus, you need to give me a ride, I've never experienced stage III power
