ok guys it is like a whine and it sounds like somethings rattling in there..the car runs fine with no problems at all it sounds horrible tough but absolutey no difference in driveability..let me know what ytou guys think of the sound that is in the video that is held right above the engine under the hood...thanks in advancefor the suggestions....

when you rev the engine does it sound louder?

maybe a loose pulley

 

yes it gets louder when i rev the engine...

 

I havent watched the video yet. cause im in class but yea if it changes in pitch i would check belts and pulleys. Did you do your TB job?

 

something with the pulleys i bet, does it sound like its coming from one specific location? and it sounds external? not muffled as if it may be inside a housing of some sort?

 

I had the same exact sound on my Mustang and it turned out to be the serpentine belt i found this out after i bought all new pullys like a idiot, id try replacing the belt first and see if the sound goes away.

 

take the serp belt off and see if it goes away. if it does, its something driven by the serp belt. If it doesnt, time to start looking at the timing belt, and you DEFINATELY dont want a bad bearing to lock up on that boy...
