Default water in rear passenger footwell- B5 S4

WTF! i'm in the midst of an engine/tranny pull and have only gotten as far as pulling the front bumper, drivers side fender and driveshaft. last night it rained pretty hard and when i came outside to check on the "s" the rear passenger footwell was a pool of water. now ive heard of other people getting water in there front seats when the drain plugs in the engine bay are clogged(in/around the battery area) and have checked there but its pretty dry and the drain holes seem to be clear. anyone with any idea of where this water came from would be greatly appreciated.

yes, ive had the same thing happen. it has to do with some sort of the exterior molding and the water drainage from the sun roof. i dont know how to help, it happened once to me, and it hasnt happened again.

i thought there was some sort of recall or something for it.. but.. IDK..

Well im not getting any closer to getting to the bottom of this dilemma. i basically have the car in the same position as you have described. im hoping this is a one time thing like you and Bigern have encountered.

Yeah, once I leveled my car back out I never had another issue. I noticed you have the stern dif carrier ring and rear bushings. How do you like them? Was there a noticeable difference as far as shifting and overall feel. I'm thinking about getting both items, just want some reassurance that its worth it.

in my opinion it was a great purchase for how inexpensive it was compared to the apikol brace/bushing. in terms of shifting my car is an auto and when i would shift from park to drive/reverse or reverse to drive/park i would get a thump. since installing the stern stuff that thump is hardly noticeable. i have no personal experience with the apikol unit but it does look like a better upgrade and im thinkin of changing to that, but i need some comparison reviews. not sure if the gain would be worth it.

thanks again for the help.
