water/methanol injection

water/methanol injection
Hey, I'm considering running a misting system on my s4. I'm wondering if I will need two nozzles, one for each out of the intercooler, or could I just run one nozzle somewhere else in the system. Also, should I put the tank in the engine bay or move it to the trunk? Would the windshield washer fluid container be safe? Any thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated

RE: water/methanol injection
I did a alky control kit on an sti and it was alright to use the windshield washer tank on that. I seen somewhere that a guy used two nozzles on his s4 right off the intercoolers but I would think it wouldn't be a good idea to put nozzles before dv's cause it will recirculate the meth and water when you get off throttle. I would think that mounting a nozzle in front of intake or get a apr bi-pipe and tap into that after the dv's. I guess the engine bay is okay place to put the stuff as on a hot day your trunk can get pretty hot too. just my 2 cents

RE: water/methanol injection
Are you doing injection, or spraying? If you are going to spray the IC's, you need 2 nozzles one for each IC. If you are doing injection, get the APR Bi-pipe, & point the nozzle @ the TB.
Yes, the washer tank is fine, it's actually pretty big.

Well let us know how it goes, like i said before when you get off throttle putting the nozzles before your dv's will cause some of thatmethanol and watermixture to recurculate and when you get back on it you will instantly be running rich for a second. But who knows till ya try it
