hi,im new to the board and i had a few questions.im about to buy an 01.5 s4,and it has a militek turboback exhaust,apr bi-pipe,and a stage 3 ecm that isnt intalled right now.would the warranty be voided?its already had the turbos and transmission replaced under warranty,so would that be good or bad?they were replaced in january and it hasnt been driven much since.the guy said turbos have always been warmed up and cooled off,synthetic oil every 2,000 miles and all.it has 70,000 miles on it and hes asking $20,000.any opinions?

 

umm i think i would personally. I dont think the exhuast would, but the other upgrades would. Try to get in connect about the warranty and ask if it would be void. you never kno

 

It all depends on the dealer if they will void it or not. spanker has one chpped and says they dont care at his dealership. The apr bi-pipe is a good mod b/c its supposed to be more reliable and teh turbos being replaced is good IMO b/c u dont reallly have to worry about them. They all are gonna go eventually so its better that they already did. 70k mi is alot fr a 20,000 but then again it has new turbos. If u can get it for like 18K that would be a great deal. And since they did replace the turbos already i guess it didnt void the waranty or ask him if he uninstall stuff to get it passed them. Perhaps thats why teh chip isnt installed.
