No one looks down on the b6/b7. Theres no replacement for displacement, and they have nicer interiors.
And the b5 is and always will be cheaper and easier to tune.

I'm thinking maybe my roof can wait. What's a little water in the house when I can have 500hp? I'm not holding my breath though - they've been saying "near future" for years. HP, where did you get the info on the price and hp? I didn't see anything on the AWE site about it.

believe me.. its my dream to have a b7 rs4.. id completely wet my pants. honestly.. but the ability to throw 2 grand and some busted knuckles and time towards a 10000 dollar car and get crazy results is tempting.. and fun to about everyone with a regular paycheck..and guess what ??? going supercharged on a b6/7 puts you in the same category as us b5 folk.. FORCED INDUCTION!!! so yeah.. cubic inches and naturally aspirated is the way to go... but again.. far from ignorance.. and usually with large n/a cars you get large weight gains.. so again its like comparing apples with oranges so to speak.. i take it as . i have a rocket from some hard work and diy.. and a couple of bucks.. you bought your rocket.. and now i can play with my rocket and make it a bigger rocket.. but you have to pay 6 times as much to do so with yours... i dont know.. i agree with hp.. your just a tired old man looking for a reason to bitch..

but its just a given that turbos can be modded easily.if i threw 11 grand at my b5 s4.. where would that put me as far as bhp and torque?? compared with 11 grand towards the b6/7?? so because we are interested in modding a b5 (cheaper) we are ignorant?? nothing is impossible with a limitless supply of cash my man...

I agree with HP, what bashing is going on? I personally love the sound of twin turbo, but I've never hated on the V8. In fact, its my next car whenever I sell mine to my dad. So I don't understand why you have to come in here saying all this stuff about the 2.7TT. I get the feeling that a lot of people on this S-car forum have 2.7TT so youre going to **** a lot of people off. This is the second time I've seen you say something that made me angry.
