V8 S4 SuperCharger?

V8 S4 SuperCharger?
This is the classic toss-up between the B5 and B6 S4's.
Driven them both enough to know what i like from each series. I think if someone is/will/might make a supercharger for
the V8, or a turbo kit (how messy would that be??) then, providing i could afford the fuel bill (*** forbid that it's worse than my Tundra V8) would go for the B6. Just love the "tucked in" feeling it provides, and in no way feels heavy or cumbersome-- however not quite as light feeling (not that 3600lbs is light; my VW is 2100lbs) as the B5.
However I haven't driven it in twisty tight back roads and wonder if the B6 could hang with a stock B5? What G forces do the both hold?
Maybe do something a bit whacky like putting the 2.7T into the B6 chassis......anyone know about doing this?
I work at a auto repair shop and have resources, including body work and basic fabrication-- however a 10' press brake/shear is possibly going to be a new addition to the shop equipment-- just perfect for one of those dirt track roof mounted wings...lol
Anyways, just really wondering if anyone knows of a company that's making a S/C for the B6 V8.
Keep the rubber side down,
Gary

Now there's a great idea: give Knuckledragger a set of metric wrenches or let him wreak havoc with his 'merican wrenches andblow torch! lol

Ok so your an astronaut? Also I would get the b5 more mod potential for less $$$ also I know the b5 a4 is better in the bends than the b6 a4 (drove both). I believe that MTM does make a 4.2 supercharger for the s4/rs4, but its about $10k.

RE: V8 S4 SuperCharger?
The MTM SC is a whole lot more than $10K. Last check it was 18K EUR which is over $25K USD. I've been looking for an SC for the B7 since I got the car and have not found an affordable option yet (Motodyne claims to have one but there are 1MM threads saying that company is full of ****). If you find one, please let me know.

Honestly, I think the only time an SC should go onto an Audi V8 is if its the 4.2L FSI (RS4), then you're getting HP numbers that aren't as easily attainable on the B5 S4. 460 crank HP is pretty doable on the B5. Spending $20k+ to get ~120 gain is not worth it considering you could buy a used stage 3 B5 (or buy a B5 and mod it to stage 3) for way less and have a vehicle that is lighter and gets better gas mileage.

RE: V8 S4 SuperCharger?
Sorry, I'm not very technical, but why would you SC an already FSI engine? Is that because the compression ratio is better? I have the NA 4.2L and want to put a SC in it, and I have some concerns about things I've read around the compression and other potential issues. I'd hate to spend all that money only to have a negative impact on my baby.
