Until it comes to change out the twins.. thats the part that scares me. Does it pull harder than the v8?

you must be on that highway for over 15 miles.

i'm lucky if my car even sees 15 mpg. typically, i get about 11-12 i can't believe how shitty it is on gas. i feel like it was false advertisement.

typically, the highway driving is going to be around 100 miles or so. For city, well, that's a different issue.

My Jag XK-8 got about the same mileage. Keep in mind that the MPG calculations that they quote was developed in the '70s if i remember correctly. Less congestion, etc so for city it was not as much stop and go as today.

that whole mpg calculation is a crock! it was developed in the 70's, but all manufacturers do is put the engine on a test stand with no load, then run it at the rpms it would be doing at 55 mph. and who bought their s4 so they could look good slowly cruising down the highway? you want fast, you pay for it, regardless of automobile.

I have a B5 S4 and I could easliy buy a 07 B6, andI have beendriven 04, 05, 07 models. While they do lookhot and have nice touque they do not perfom close to mine when it is said and done. Sub 4.5 0-60 runs are easy in the B5, I would have to go RS4 to get the same performance. And the twins are band new courtesy of CPO, they are real and fabulous with an X chip....
