Upgrade Question
I currently have a 2000 S4 with about 75000 miles on it. I have had more than normal problems with this car in the 3 years that I have had it. I feel like everything is starting to fall apart on it right now and am thinking about getting a 2004 S4. If anyone can put any insight on a 2004 or 2005 and let me know if there has been any serious problems with theirs or if it was just my 2000 S4 that caused me problems.
Thanks

RE: Upgrade Question
I got my car with 20k on it 10k later had to replace the flywheel, clutch, and a bunch of other stuff related to the transmission. I have had a man transmission for 8 years now, never had problems with burning up clutches or anything. Now that my car is at 71k my trans is making a weird clunking noise. I have a warranty for another 4k but of course that isn't covered. Also the alignment on my car has been done about 6 times. But that was due to the control arm and front shocks, which they just had a recall on. So now I have to deal with getting reimbursed for all of those costs. I am just wondering because it seems like my car is in the shop at least once a month for things other than basic servicing. I was just wondering if they have improved on reliability.
