so i notice when i am using the manual mode on the triptronic i shift to the next gear and the rpm's drop it all smooth but every gear has like an overdrive mode or something because it sort of feels like it shifts again or the rpm's kinda drop again does anyone know what i am talking about? i know nothing is wrong with the trans and maybe im just tweekin out but im just curious if anyone has this happen to them? PS The car has had the trans checked out everything is fine it shifts perfect, this seems not to be a problem just something the car does, but like i said im might be just seein something thats not there.

 

do you have a check engine light? it sounds like the clutches inside your torque converter arent locking up properly. its not overdrive...its a problem.
