Totaled my TT looking to go to a B5 S4
I want an S4 the insurance will be high as **** probably.
My TT had 97k miles on and it was the best car I ever owned, and saved my life in my what people guessed was a fatal accident. Ive looked at A4s and could live with one but dread the drop in tq and hp not to mention A4s run about 10k and after I do what id want to do to compensate for the loss of tq and hp(chip, turbo swap, dc,exhaust) i could have just bought the S4.
The S4
The car has no mods which means the Turbo maybe safe. Clean carfax no floods or accidents. Its a North Carolina or South Carolina car the way I drove my TT in NC is way different from how I drive in DC but does it make a difference? the dealer changed out the Timing Belt, water pump, and window regulators and put some new tires on it. Its at 92k miles and they want like 13k for it. Maintenence is an issue as the ONLY thing i could do on my audi was change the oil and coilpacks.
Should I go for it?

New tires, timing belt with a clean title all with only 92k? I'd say 13k is a good price. I bought mine for 11k with 85k on it and had to do the tires, timing belt (and now the brakes) myself. Offer them 12.5, I'll bet they go for it :\
As an added bonus try to get them to warrenty the car until 100k miles. Any problems should creep up by then.

i Would rather buy a S4 with 100k on it for 13k and has had TB done and TRE, CAs replaced than buy a 40k miles S4 for $19k, cause in 20k your gonna be replacing all that stuff anyways. And i has been shown that the 2.7 can handle the mileage.

RE: Totaled my TT looking to go to a B5 S4
I lost control of my car going around a curve (wasnt even going that fast) on a foggy morning and totalled it i added a pic.
Anyway I'm having trouble finding another car that I like. I need a car and my Family would like it if I didnt get another Audi TT(i dont know why) So I'm trying to find other car options that offer what I like a stylish interior, and AWD. I'd prefer something atleast the same speed if not faster. After surviving the accident my Mom is a big supporter of European manufacturing due to high crash ratings. So sticking with an Audi it is the logical choice.
The problem is that I dont want to pick up a car payment since my TT was paid for and the insurance isnt giving me a large amount of spending room around 13k(value of my totalled car). Nothings is worst than making PAYMENTS and having high maintence cost IMHO.
On another car ive found whats the general consensus on buying cars with new engines put in them? It has new turbos and all of the new things the above has fixed on it.
