Its a lot of bang for the buck (and is highly moddable to some amazing numbers) but it doesn't do it for me - it is still a neaon - and I do hate neons. The very rough engine, low quality engineering/ergonomics - inside and out) and the FWD aspect - just tell me one can do better. For a bit more the WRX or EVO seems a much better car. Even something like a Mazdaspeed 6 would have more apeal - but again - I'm an old guy - and while I like small nimble cars i just don't see it in the SRT. It sure can be made wicked though - and if drag strip fast is your #1 obsession - then maybe it makes sense - but if not cheack out the RSX or a mini cooper - or an RS32 or an Audi A3 (S3?)...or even a civic Si. There is really more to fun in an auto then pure straight line acceleration.
