I wnat to trade my 2.8 in for a B5 s4. It will end up costing me liek 2 grand plus 600 to put the mods i have on my 2.8 on the s4. So here are teh questions, what to check for when looking (otehr than the timing belt and taht crap from teh a4). How long will a s4 last in miles ( i take excellant care of my car)? Once a chip is installed i know ppl say the turbos will blow later. Has anyoen had this happen to them? After how many miles was it? Honestly how much less reliable is a s4 over a 2.8? What seem to be the main problems?

Nice link, jaybquick, how many M3s have you dusted and how much were your mods (ballpark total).

 

I have built many mustangs in my day and learned the lesson of how much money you can WASTE on mods and never recover it. So I found this car fully modded from some guy who bought a Porsche GT3 as a replacement. I looked at all the receipts and he spent about 25k since it was all professionally done. I bought the car for 28K.
