Hey all, So i've had my A4 for a bit now, love it, low miles all options I wanted. Looking to maybe upgrade to the S4, love the V8 sound, and bunch more power obviously. I currently have a B6, I'd like to get into a B7..at first wasn't a huge fan of that body style, but its waring on me. Im looking at at least a 10k+ price difference, trying to determine if its worth it, thrill wise, reliability wise..etc. My A4 has the sport package along with the lux package, and it drives great, nice and solid, almost like my M3 felt. I went to the dealer and drove an S4 recently, auto though, honestly the slap stick killed it for me, downrevving is much more enjoyable to me driving then braking, im sure you know what i mean. I've heard that these cars are really heavy, so the extra power from the V8 is really hindered, and that they have a hard time accelerating good after 70ish? Anyhow my A4's nearly payed off, and Im trying to figure if the cost is worth it or not. Thanks for any input you can offer

 

I guarantee if your buy a well tuned turbo'd car you'll giggle past all the v8's and never look back.
