I have heard, and read, it's governed at 155mph, some chips take the governer off though.

I am with sooks. From what I understand it is governed at 155 and with a chip you increase, HP, TQ, Redline, and no more gov. (i.e. 'til your tires blow out and or crash and or car can no longer rev any faster)

it's governed at 155, unless there is some USD thing

and most chips take off the governor... especially stage III people

umm no, mine does not cut off at 155... but i havent gotten a chance to test it either.

odds are you will not be going much faster than 170...your speedometer won't even register after that, it will just be pinned to the back...and yes 170 is fast.

Stock my '01.5 hit a soft limiter at a 141mph indicated. a couple weeks ago I bought a APR 93oct ECU and I know she will do well more then 140..
