my car is finally fixed, both N75 valves were bad, and some other stuff, i got the car remapped @ 18psi tapering to 15-16

as soon as i got it back i called my friend who has a very fast stock E46 M3 SMG II Euro Spec

this M3 runs 12.86 or .89 and 0-60: 4.6

M3: stock 343ps
Me: ECU remap @ 18psi + cat back 2 x 2.5 inch , 268hp @ wheelsand 314ft/lbs @ wheels

rolling start from 2nd gear from 40-180-190km/h i stay in front and then the M3 starts to pass , near 220-230km/h he takes about 1.5-2 carlengths on me, it was very close, also when the M3 starts in 2nd gear from 80km/h and i stay in 3th i take the lead again till 180-190 and above 200 the M3 is a little bit stronger

i am very pleased with the results, seeing that i only got chip and cat back

then i tried against my mates EVO 9 with remap @ 1.8bar (26psi),exhaust and CAI , he has extremely close gears and just blows away when the third honk goes, he took about 3 cars on me from 50-200km/h and this stayed so till top end (250km/h)
he also has a spray on his intercooler, i want that stuff too haha

next weekend i'll take some videos , then i will race my mates M5 e39 on torque and these guys again hèhèhè

 

nice. and the best part is that that dude with the M3 and the dude with the EVO spent a lot more money than you! all you need to do is finish up that stage two with some nice DP's and youll take em. the M3 at least not sure about the EVO those things are fast. haha

 

yeah both cars cost 35.000€ and i spend like 12.500 with mods hèhèhèhè


and yes i think with DP's and a good intake i'll take the M till top...

 

I don't know about your car, but my friends evo with exhaust and intake only (I think) does high 11's. Although he may have been lying to me...[&:]

 

the evo ran 12.55 on gtech rr with a crappy start on sunday night on a slightly uphill road with two persons in car...

Ithink if he does everything right it could run 12.2-12.3

 

videos ALRIGHT!!! The evo is a fun try but no real win, and the M3 asI expected would top out a little more. Good races! Do you have your clutch done? If so slam that thing into the gears harder and that M3 should be a little behind. Also I have heard of that spray for the intercoolers, it basically freezes them right? good for 50hp? what is that called?

 

i got a new clutch 5000km ago, but it's a stock oem LUK replacement, so i'm babying it right now cause i don't want it too die quick.

and yes i know i should have gone with a stage 2 or 3 clutch but it was under warrantee and it happened the 3d day i had the car , i brought it in and they gave it back with new clutch ...
