Default Squeeking sound

I get kind of a wierd squeeking when I turn left. Almost like the sound is coming from inside the dash but it isn't. I listen outside closely while someone turns the wheel and it soounds like its coming from the CV shaft. It doesn;t knock or anything but it bugs the hell out me wen I turn left. When I listen carefully, I hear a very mild squeek even as I'm driving straight. It makes no sense. The squeeking sound isn't even consistent, sometimes it barely makes the sound. Some advice would be great. By the way, I drive a 2000 S4.

Did you check if the CV boot was ripped?

If the CV boot was ripped it should be leaking a nasty grease all over the back of my rim. Nothing but brake dust there mang. That was the first thing I checked.

it could be your wheel bearing, when you turn left there is a noise, when you turn right there should be no noise, had the same problem.
