While I partly agree with Imola I also accept that certain slang used to describe items is just gonna happen. So when i hear the term "Rim" I know that typically people mean wheels, no harm done.

Yeah, I too understand the inevitable evolution of our language jermdogg143, but I don't agree with it in certain areas. I obviously know to what "they" are referring. I just hate to see the prestige and respect for Audi and its performance image getting tarnished by ghetto slang. I'd rather leave that to the Chevy and JDM crowd.

So, I'm just doing my part to draw the line. Maybe it's a lost cause, but I'll keep trying.

I totally agree with you Imola. I typically refer to the metal round thinies that tires go on as wheels but every now and then I slip up and say R^&. It usually happens when I'm on my Nasioc forum listen to subaru guys tell me I took a step back by buying an Audi. Guess they will never know.

Oh and you can't hate on my name. jermdogg143 is a name I've used for many years and even as I've grown out of the B-ball street slang talk of my childhood, it just seems easier to keep the same login name as opposed to changing everything from e-mail to online bills.

 

im with ya on the name thing, yoshi has been my online name since 7 grade started in counterstrike [8D]. college fresh now. and all my online accounts are yoshi, yoshi44 or switch crippler (aim, ring me up sometime), its just easier.
