Default Short Throw Shifter Opinions

I checked the posts for opinions on a short throw shifter for a 2002 S4 but didn't find what I was looking for. Basically I don't want anything too tight or notchy. Looking for something smooth that will just get rid of the slop. JHM seems to fall into the notchy category. B&M gets mixed reviews. Hypershift seems to get good reviews. Others? Suggestions?

I've got B&M and its pretty notchy. I probably wouldn't buy it again. I'd go hypershift, I've heard good things about them as well.

I like my JHM alot, you found a noticeable difference after changing your transmission fluid? Maybe i should try that too is it hard to do yourself?

I'm very happy with my B & M - but would likely consider the JHM if I was doing it now. B & M might be a little notchy - but not at all bad and the ss improvement is well worth it.
