Default Short throw shifter, any DIY?

I drove my buddys sti the other day and i noticed how much easier and nicer it is with a short throw, has anyone put one in an 2000 s4 by themselves? If so what one did you put in and how hard was it? I would really like to get one of these but I dont really have a shop around here that does aftermarket things for an audi.

I put one in my 01.5, 1 month ago. It's made by Stratsmosphere, high quality
components and really short throw. It took me an hour to install. Instruction are
one Strats web site, it's pretty straight forward, easyier if you have small finger
and a retreaver tool.

defantly get one that gets rid of push down reverse, it makes the shift feel way better

your gonna need a snake like grabber or magnet on a stick, cuz your defantly bound to drop the screws. (dont think you wont, you will)

( i caught you thinking you dont need it, didnt i!!!, your gonna need one, stop thinking you wont...)

(ah, ah, !!! i caught u again, trust me u need one!!!)

I don't know for the other brand, but Strats keep the push to reverse thing on.
